I have newly this problem on my laptop. I have searched on forums and aware of the many solutions out there on cisco forums
windows 7 32bit home
dell inspiron duo with only wireless connection. no ethernet port
No antivirus installed or similiar so there should be no firewalls except windows firewall
wlan driver is called atheros. This is the one available from dell support website
cisco vpn client, atheros driver, as wel as windows 7 are all updated to the newest version
no network sharing is enabled or funny settings for the wlan
The vpn client used to work fine, until recently, so it might be a windows update problem. but I can not find or determine the problem, so I donnt know what to report at microsoft
Last words: sometimes it shows me reason 442, sometimes only "securing communication channel" and then nothing happens
any ideas?
