remote access VPN pool

Hi guys we have lot of remote access vpn and i have to figure out few things (in ASA) do every remote access VPN has a username and password???? scondly there are pool

ie

hostname(config)# ip local pool testpool 192.168.0.10-192.168.0.15

what are these pools for what does this local ip pool does???

Hi

1) ip local pool testpool 192.168.0.10-192.168.0.15 this creates a pool with range of static ip that your remote user gets when connected through VPN.

2) Yes every time you need a username and password for connecting VPN.
