remote access vpn split tunneling issues

Hello,

I have set up remote access vpn via the Cisco vpn client and anyconnect, with split tunneling enabled.

internal network is 192.168.15.0/24 with 192.168.15.1 as internal dns server

The internal dns server performs dns resolving with a 'last resort' which resolves to a public ip (which the customer has set up for a reason)

When I say: tunnel all networks and I ping an internal hostname, the ip address is resolved properly

When I configure to tunnel only the inside network, the same host is resolved to the 'last resort' ip, while inside hosts are still accessible by ip address.

Note: the fqdn in the inside network is the same as the external name e.g. companyname.nl

I have added companyname.nl as default domain.

With regards,

Ralph Willemsen
