Remote Desktop into VPN Clients for Troubleshooting Purposes

I have users that VPN into our network. 

Is it possible to start a remote desktop session from a computer on the network to their computer (the client)?

Yes, assuming you don't otherwise prohibit it via an access-list on the VPN appliance or client configuration.
