RV042 gateway to gateway VPN much slower than expected.

Hi all, I need some input.

I have 2 offices on bonded quad DSL with both have 18 Mb/s down and 2.4 Mb/s up.

The VPN is established but file transfers are topping out at 240 Kb/sec. This seems slow to me as the upstream is 2.4 Mb/sec.

The VPN setup is a follows:

Keying Mode : IKE with preshared key
Phase 1 DH Group : Group 1 -768 bit
Phase 1 Encryption : DES
Phase 1 Authentication : MD5
Phase 1 SA Life Time : seconds
Perfect Forward Secrecy :
Phase 2 DH Group : Group 1 -768 bit
Phase 2 Encryption : DES
Phase 2 Authentication : MD5
Phase 2 SA Life Time : seconds
Preshared Key :
Minimum Preshared Key Complexity : Enable
Preshared Key Strength Meter :

The VPN connects fine, I've tried adjusting the MTU, Aggressive mode in compression in Advanced. Nothing seems to make much difference. Shouldn't these speeds be faster?
