SA540: enabling VPN while publishing HTTPS server

Can I publish a server on the LAN using HTTPS and configure my SA540 as a VPN server?

Configuring the firewall rule for HTTPS packets on port 443 and worked fine, users could log into the Outlook Web Access server using HTTPS. When we configure VPN, however, it seems like the HTTPS rule interferes with VPN. I have to disable it in order to get VPN working.

Can't I have both?

Re: SA540: enabling VPN while publishing HTTPS server

Hi,

Are you using port 443 to terminate the VPN on the SA540?

If both VPN and HTTPS use the same port that's why they interfere with each other.

I don't have an SA540 handy, but I believe you can change the port for HTTPS (or for VPN) and have them both working simultaneously.

Federico.
