secondary site-to-site VPN on the same ASA

Just after some advice please, I need to configure a secondary site-to-site VPN on the same ASA, both VPN’s will use the same parameters apart from the peer address. I’ve not done this before so is there anything I need to be aware of when configuring the secondary VPN through the ASDM software. I believe the ASA will always use the VPN configured with the lowest priority.

Darren,

In fact you should not apply two differemt crypto map entries matching same traffic selectors (crypto map entry ACL).

If you want this to act as backup you should specifiy multiple peers under same crypto map.
