show vpgroup password - dumb question

We have 'inherited' a customer with a pix with a vpn group configured. Is there a way to display the password in clear text, we don't want to change it since we are not sure how many people use it?

Many thanks,

The password appears in clear text in the config file saved on tftp server.

Many thanks your reply - that's what I thought as well, however if I use pdm to save the running config to TFTP or use a wri net command, the resultant file has ****** for the VPN group password.

Hummm... surprising. What pix version is in use?

Do you open the saved config with a wordpad?

Ironically the pw set for the vpn-group could be the resultant you mentionned earlier.
