I just picked up a Windows 7 64-bit machine and have made the same discovery as many that Cisco won't support older device connectivity on a 64-bit platform. I've learned about the Shrew Soft client and have installed it and it appears to work fine connecting to a Cisco Pix.
My question is how safe and secure is the Shrew Soft product? It almost seems to be too good to be true working as well as it does at no charge. I need something that I can trust to remotely administer a network through a VPN tunnel.
Thanks in advance for any answers and/or opinions.
