SSH keys get deleted?

I have an 1811 that had a DHCP configuration on it and I needed to convert it to a PPPoE config. We have templates we use for all these deployments. I was able to send the tftp file to the tech and he was able to ssh to the box and load the PPPoE config via tftp. After the reload the router is up and running but we cannot ssh to the box anymore. Telnet is disabled on all interfaces and the tech does not have a usb to serial conversion cable. My Question is if we load a completely differeent configuration to a router that we could previous access via ssh, does it wipe the keys?

Helo jerryroy1,

It shouldn't. Did you change hostname or domain name by chance?
