SSL VPN CSD question

I would like to know if there is a plugin, or browser add-in that can be installed with administrator permissions on a Windows system that will allow a non-admin user to run the CSD without having to run the CSD installer.

Our problem is that when a non-admin user tries to connect to our ASA for an SSL VPN connection, they have to run the inst.exe file. When they run this file they are asked to provide the full URL of the start page. In some cases this field is already populated, but not always. The end user does not know what the URL is.

Also, why is it that when a user with admin access on a Windows computer can make the initial SSL VPN connection and run the CSD, and then a non-admin user (using the same computer)is not propted to run install the CSD? Is there a component of the CSD that gets installed by the admin user that then allows all users on that Windows system the ability to run the CSD without being prompted?

Re: SSL VPN CSD question

there is an option that leave the client software

in other words dosent uninstall it

might be helpful if u install it once with admin user

good luck
