Star VPN Client automatically

Hi,

i would like to start a vpn client tunnel automatically using a batch file.

I see that i can use the VPN Client command line to do this so i0ve created a batch file with following commands:

C:\>Cd Programmi

C:\Programmi>Cd Cisco Systems

C:\Programmi\Cisco Systems>Cd VPN Client

C:\Programmi\Cisco Systems\VPN Client>vpnclient connect nocertpwd "tunnel" user

vpnuser pwd vpnpwd

Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.8.01.0300

Copyright (C) 1998-2005 Cisco Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Client Type(s): Windows, WinNT

Running on: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3

Config file directory: C:\Programmi\Cisco Systems\VPN Client

Initializing the VPN connection.

Initiating TCP to xx.xx.xx.xx, port 10000

Contacting the gateway at xx.xx.xx.xx

Authenticating user.

Negotiating security policies.

Securing communication channel.

tunnel

Vpn Connection OK!

Do you wish to continue? (y/n):

The connection is established but i can't understand the meaning of question "do you wish to continue?". If i put y the connection continue and a message appear "you VPN is secure", if i put n the connetion is closed and if i put some other keys or i close the cmd.exe window the connection continue. What i have to do to escape this question? I need to automatize my vpn client connection but in this way i see alway a cmd.exe window opened on my machine and i shoul manually close it.

Thank you

Nicola

Re: Star VPN Client automatically

There is an "auto connect" feature built into the client - see the below:-
