Testing VPN

I want to test my VPN group before I put this ASA5510 on the network? Ideas?

Not knowing anything more about your configuration (physical, etc), you could use a cross-over cable between your PC and the public side of the ASA. Are you authenticating locally, using radius, etc? That plays a role in how you test.

You can test by cross cable back to back connect Firewall Outside interface and Laptop.After you can Dial.

In ASDM you have TEST option also to check all are arameters.
