is it possible to take the config from the 3005 and upload to the 3030? has anyone done this? what kind of problems can i expect if i do this?

basically i want to avoid having to re-enter everything in the new concentrator (mostly lan-to-lan setups and network lists).

TIA

Yes you can do this.

Setup a machine as a tftp servr and from the 3005 tftp the config file to the tftp server. Then on the 3030, upload the file from the server.

This can all be done from the file management section.

You will have to make sure that you have connectivity from the 3030 to the tftp server and if you are leaving the 3005 in place, you will have to change the IP address info so you won't have a conflict.

thanks..i was beginning to wonder if this was ever going to get answered. aside from what you've mentioned, is there anything else i should be aware of?
