Users with DSL having Anyconnect issues

One of my client is running into an issue with their end users that have DSL and use Anyconnect. They seem to have issues throughout the day. Sometimes the connection hangs and then continues to work. Other times it will hang and then drop. This does not happen with people using a cable modem connection. The only thing that comes to mind is to change the MTU size for the VPN connection, but I wanted to see if someone else has a suggestion.
