VPN between 2 sites with the same network address

Hi,

i must create a VPN between a CISCO PIX and a CISCO ROUTER where both LAN's are 192.168.1.x.

How can i do this configuration? Where can i found a example?

This example show the configuration for 10.1.1.0 and 10.2.2.0 lan's.

In your case you will have modify the configuration to translate either the pix side or the router side network before passing it into the tunnel. Here's how:

either change one of the network scheme from 192.168.1.x to something else; or

deploy another nat/pat device on each site performing a second round nat/pat.

e.g.

net a <--> router <--> pix <--> internet/vpn <--> router <--> router <--> net b

when the internet-connected pix/router receives the packet originated from the inside net, the source will already be modified by the internal router e.g. net a --> 192.168.101.0; net b --> 192.168.102.0.
