VPN Client 5.0.01.0600 locks up computet

When going online with vpn, my computer locks up 5-10

minutes after connection.  The only way to reboot is a hard shutdown.  I am runnin XP SP3 and any help you can provide would be appreciated

Re: VPN Client 5.0.01.0600 locks up computer

Only suggestion is to check for your firewall software that may conflict / go in block mode when connected.. otherwise you're looking at a reinstall of the vpn client

Save any custom VPN profiles - located in C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\profiles

Uninstall Cisco VPN client,

Delete Cisco VPN folder in  C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems - or rename the folder if you want to save it

reboot PC

reinstall Cisco VPN client ( or get more recent version than the one you are running, 5.0.03.0530 )

reboot PC <<-- important

attempt to connect again
