 Hi everyone,

User PC is config with VPN client for remote access.

Say client pc has config of  VPN client with backup servers and if primary ASA is shutdown will the secondary VPN gateway issue the client new IP

address automatically?

Here ASA is not in any failover mode.

Regards

The backup server list is only used when establishing a new VPN connection.  If there the client has an active connection and the VPN server becomes unavailable then the user will need to re-establish the connection manually.
