VPN Client - Mac OSX - Firewall Mismatch error 435
I have been unsuccessfull in connecting to my company's network with the VPN Client - I keeping getting a Firewall Mismatch error (#435). I've been trying off & on for the last year or so as updates to Cisco's VPN Client for OSX have been released. I've got the latest version (4.9) loaded on my Mac ... but I still get the same error message. I've tried every combination I can think of with my local firewall settings ... but nothing seems to work.
Is there anything I can do locally on my end to fix the problem?
The Concentrator you are trying to connect to has a setting which requires a certain firewall to be enabled before connecting. Most likely it is the Cisco Integrated Client Firewall which Linux and MAC I am pretty sure do not have. You will not able to connect until the VPN administrator cahnges that setting or creates another group for you to connect.
