VPN Concentrator Classfull?

Configuring the VPN Concentrator for remote access VPNs, I intend deploying IP Telephony with Softphones on remote user sites. This requires the CallManager server to know the IP address of the remote machine so it can bind the directory number to it.

So, I need it to assign a specific IP to each user. I have tried to configure this on the VPN Concentrator under IP Address and Subnet Mask under

Configuration | User Management | Users | Modify. Upon dialup and doing a ipconfig this gives the user the correct IP but it always uses a /24 network mask, I have tried different Supernet masks but it always assigns a classfull mask. I wanted to do the same as the pool address which gives each user a 32 bit mask. This would allow me to hopefully route between remote users. Is there any way I can get the Concentrator to hand out specific addresses with a 32 bit mask.

Re: VPN Concentrator Classfull?

Andy, I don't think there is a way to specify a mask for the address pool from which the addresses are assigned. The mask is derived based on the default network mask of the addresses entered in the pool. Thus, an address will mean that a mask of /16 is used by default.
