VPN error message on home laptop?

I downloaded my work Cisco VPN client 5.0.04.0300 onto my home laptop and I get an  error message that "The client did not match the firewall policy  configured on the central site VPN device.  Sygate Security Agent should  be enabled or installed on your computer."

I searched online, but  couldn't find a download or how to enable it. When using my office laptop, I have no problem. My home laptop is a 32-bit Windows 7 while office laptop is an XP Pro. I turned off the firewall on my home laptop and VPN still doesn't work. How do I solve this? Help and thanks!

Re: VPN error message on home laptop?

Hi,

Most likely the VPN server has a policy that won't allow remote computers to connect unless they have the firewall installed.

Do you manage the VPN server to check the policy?

The VPN server can be configured to not allow the computers to connect unless they match the required policy or to be set as an optional requirement.

Federico.
