VPN IP Pool routing

Hi ..

I have an ASA doing client VPN and giving them their addresses from an IP Pool. They are unable to get beyond the LAN of the inside network to any subnets below. I have tried EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, and finally I tried a static route at each hop that points the IP Pool network back to the inside interface of the FW .. but no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion?

TIA

Dave

Re: VPN IP Pool routing

have a look at the access-list you have assigned to the client-pool.

Dave,

If you configured static routing every hop and the packets did not make it to the client, the issue most likely seems to be the configuration on the ASA.

Do you have NAT Configured on ASA. If so, can you check the NAT 0 command to make sure that the internal networks bypass NAT/PAT Translations when traffic is destined to the VPN Pool of IP Addresses.

What about any access-list applied on the inside interface of the ASA.

I hope it helps.

Regards,

Arul
