VPN L2L, remote point must be a domain name

Hi.

I need to configure a VPN L2L in a PIX firewall version 6.3, my problem is that the remote point must be to a domain name rather than an IP address, I need help with a example configuration file, steps and requirements.

Thanks.

thanks but I don't found the example configuration that I need, most of the examples of IPsec are for version 7 and the examples do not include the configuration of the domain name instead of the remote peer IP.

I think the only way to use a domain name is to specify the name and the IP, then call the name in the crypto map entry.

I do not think that you can get the ASA to resolve a DNS name for the VPN tunnel.
