Hello,
I am trying to get the VPN phones working with an ASA on 8.3(1)4
The SSL VPN comes up and the ASA backs off the DHCP request to my DHCP server
However in the DHCP trace I see that the ASA does not request the option 150 tftp server address
As such the DHCP server does not send the option 150 and, the phone does not get its TFTP server address.
I have raised TAC for this, but was wondering if anyone has got this working.
How do I get the ASA to request the option 150 address in the DHCP discover packet sent from the ASA to the DHCP server

Maybe not. I saw this new bug.
CSCso44665 DHCP options (like tftp) are not pushed to VPN clients

Hi,
That is exactly the problem and after going through with TAC they came up with this to.
So one kind of wonders how the VPN phone feature works.
I have got it working by manually configuring 'alternate tftp=yes' on the phones and manually putting in the tftp server addresses.
This is not documented in any of the documentation.
