vpn

Dear all

I configured two routers for a vpn conncetion, and after configuring them, used show crypto isakmp sa command,

R2#show crypto isakmp sa

dst             src             state          conn-id slot status

192.168.10.1    192.168.10.2    QM_IDLE              1    0 ACTIVE

R2#

R1#show crypto isakmp sa

dst             src             state          conn-id slot status

192.168.10.1    192.168.10.2    QM_IDLE              1    0 ACTIVE

R1#

Now i want to know why the source and destination address are same on both router?

Re: vpn

Hi Hari,

You see the same source and destination on both sides because its from the perspective of who inititated the tunnel.

If you want to check the actual source and remote IPs for the tunnel, do:  ''sh cry isa sa detail''

Federico.
