vpn

we have the cisco 1.4.1.2 vpn.  I can get into the vpn tunnel from my home computer, which is windows 7, but once in the tunnel I cannot connect to my work computer, which is windows 8.  I have had 2 different techs working on my work computer and no on can find the answer as to why I cannot connect to my work computer.  can someone help?
