Dear All,

I'm trying to configure a PIX 515E with 7.1.2 software to enable WebVPN.

I'm following istructions from this document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080334071.html#wp1042124

When I enter the command to enable WebVPN the PIX responds "invalid input":

I seem to recall that the configuration guide used to state that this was on the ASA products only (not on the PIX).

I would do a little research to investigate if it is possible, but I believe this support is limited to the ASA-line.

hi i am sure that cisco pix shows all the commands for webvpn but it doesn't support webvpn. it's only supported on asa. they have kept the configuration document same for both of them .

It's Supported in ASA 7.0 only as a demo with 7.1 you have to get a feature license and I think install additional software.

Here is the feature licensing information for the ASA and PIX's if you'll notice the VPN Peers the ASA has webvpn available and the Pix does not.
