When I use anyconnect on my laptop, my cisco phone (vpn mode) disconnects

I have a cisco 7962 IP phone running in VPN mode in my home office. It will stay connected for weeks at a stretch with no issues. However, if I launch anyconnect on my laptop and connect, suddenly the 7962 keeps disconnecting and re-registering. Its done it 3 times in the time I have typed this much.

If I make a phone call it seems to be stable the entire duration of the call but sitting here idle it just constantly disconnects.

shut down anyconnect on the laptop and the phone will stay connected forever. I assume it has something to do with multiple VPN's from inside my home office but im not sure where to start to get it fixed.

Thanks in advanced for any help!

(my home router is a 8xx series cisco with a time warner cable modem on the other side of it)
