WHEN ISAKMP NEGOTIATION BEGINS IN IKE MAIN MODE, ISAKMP LOOKS FOR AN ISAKMP POLICY THAT IS THE SAME ON BOTH PEERS.

PLEASE INFORM WHICH PEER IS RESPONCIPLE FOR MATCHING POLICIES ?

Hi,

It will be the device that initiate the Phase I process. It will check the remote peer on matching policy. Remote peer, on the other hand, will also verufy the matching policy.
