Where can I get a SSL VPN client?

I don't know very much about vpn technology, but have used the 5.x cisco client software and the vpn client software that windows xp comes with. Now a client is asking me to connnect using a ssl vpn. I don't think I can do that with either of the vpn client packages I've used before? So what am I supposed to use? I looked at openvpn and couldn't make a lot of sense out of it. I've registered on this site but apparently that's not enough to gain me access to the ssl vpn client software.

Re: Where can I get a SSL VPN client?

Michael,

If you are the client initiating the connection to the RA server via SSL the way it works is by using your OS regular internet web browser like Internet Exprorer, as long it support SSL as webvpn is SSL driven, and user credentials to login into WEBVPN, that is all you need to connect to your client's RA server.

exmple to connect to the RA via webvpn would be as:

https://

there are couple of things you need as requirements , I quote from the link bellow.

Requirements

Before you attempt this configuration, ensure that you meet these requirements for the remote client stations:

SSL-enabled Web browser

SUN Java JRE version 1.4 or later

Cookies enabled

Popup blockers disabled

Local Administrative privileges (not required but strongly suggested)

Note: The latest version of the SUN Java JRE is available as a free download from the Java Website .
