I'm having a intermittent problem accessing certain web sites, especial the ones end that with orgs. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 hours to be able to reach these sites, in the meantime I could reach everything else. However whenever I clear the NAT table, all of the sudden I'm able to access these sites again. Few hours later, same thing happen, I issue the clear XLAT command then I'm back in business again. Can any one tell me what is going on?

Pix, or IOS??

Well if you are usig a router with IOS to do this NAT, you should have a look at the Bug Navigator. There are a lot of bugs regarding NAT eating your memory or hogging your CPU.

Andre

I'm using PIX 515 version 6.1-4. CPU utilization is low.

Thanks.

What is configured timeout for NAT entries? Is it remained default?

Yes, I've went with the default values.
