Is this a router that you have had or is it one that you just acquired?

If you have had it a while did it work before? Have you upgraded the IOS? Do I understand that you have installed new interfaces? If so can you give us the specific part numbers of the interfaces? It sounds like the intefaces on the router may not be supported by the version of IOS that you are running.

Re: 00:00:04: %LINK-4-NOMAC: A randon +not reconized any interfa

If it is a router that you have just acquired I would suggest that you remove (temporarily) the interface that you installed and see if the router will boot and recognize the other interfaces.

I do not know for sure what the problem is, but when the IOS does not recognize interfaces it is usually either a problem that the particular version of IOS on that platform does not support the particular interface, or it may be a hardware problem with the interface. It might be helpful to remove any interfaces that you can and re-insert them very carefully to be sure that they are well seated.

If the IOS version on the box the one that came with the router or did you load a different version of IOS?

Hi,rburts, me again, sorry I was out the town.

Answering yours questions:

I've been remoned all the interface and got the same situation,Also the ethernet0/0 that came with the router is not reconized when I make a sh ver or sh interfaces.

Is any produce to erase all the faslh and configured again the router?

Or if you have any other recomendation, pleased let me know?

Re: 00:00:04: %LINK-4-NOMAC: A randon +not reconized any interfa

Assuming that the router has done a normal boot you should be able to go into enable mode. From enable mode you can use the command erase flash to erase the contents of flash. Loading a new image will be a challenge if the router does not recognize any of its interfaces. You will probably need to boot the router into rommon and use something like xmodem to transfer the new image from a PC to the flash.

Rburts, I want to thanks you!

I erased the flash and load a new one using the xmodem produce. The router is working.

Juan

I am glad that you solved the problem and got the router working. It looks like there was something incompatible between the router hardware and the particular IOS image that was on the router.
