Re: 1000 based port

Hi,[ Pls Rate if HELPS]

What is the Model Number of your Core Switch. INFO:1000 base port will not support speed as 100

1000 Based speed ports are Gigabit Ports with Fiber Optic Interface(Port) options (no copper ports). The capability of the Port will be 1000Base-SX will support only 1000 as speed.

You will not be able to Configure the port as speed 100. If you need to have 100 as speed of the port means you may require 100Base-FX Ports in the Core Switch.

Else only Copper ports are eligible to operate in 10/100/1000 base speeds which is 100Base-T Ports.

PLS Rate if HELPS
