Hello,

Which ISR G2 is appropriate to handle 100mbps of VPN traffic? would 3925-sec/k9 suitable for this?

The Cisco docs are very confusing on this matter... and couldn't find any reliable information.

It looks like the 3925 should be able to handle over 100Mbps of IPSec traffic according to this performance document:

http://anticisco.ru/pubs/ISR_G2_Perfomance.pdf

The 2951 looks like it is also capable, but you need to factor in the number of tunnels you require as well.

Thank you for your answer.

Could you please tell me how did you read that information from the document you posted?

The numbers there seem unrelated

I agree with the rest of the post.

The 3925 will be able to push, a minimum of, 100 Mbps of traffic (full duplex, full encryption).

Sure if you look at table 7 or page 6, it states the platforms and the amount of IPSec (Mbps) it is capable of switching.

Hi Tomasz,

they will. The only thing you need to care about is the type of license you are going to buy for your 3925.

PS: the 2951 would be on the very limit
