Is it possible to add 64 MB memory module with the exisiting 64 MB module.
Or how can i do the memory upgrade
In cisco dynamic configurator, 128 memory module support is given.
I want to go for the 64 x2 option.
It is possible
Thanks in Advance

hi,
Yes you can as per this document:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps221/prod_configuration_guide09186a0080099429.html
64-MB SDRAM DIMM
Cisco Part Number: MEM1700-64D=
NOTE: The 128MB chip is not supported on the 1721, accordingly you must use 2 x 64M.
HTH, please rate if it does help,
Mohammed Mahmoud.

Hi, arumuqasamy
Actually, 1721 has one built-in 64MB memory, that means even the dimm slot is empty , you got 64MB memory. Get another 64MB memory and insatall it to the dimm slot, then you will have 128MB memory in total.
