1760 with vic 4fxs/did card

I have a 1760 router that have two wic cards on slot 0 and 1. And 2 vic 4fxs/did cards on slot 2 and 3.

Problem is that the two vic4fxs/did cards, don't show up on hardware list, there is a green light on the slot 2 and 3 that is OK, the 4 ports on each card are amber, but the router doesn't reconize the card.

Is ther any comand that I have to do to enable the card on the slot, for fxs?

Regards

Re: 1760 with vic 4fxs/did card

Most likely you're missing the necessary DSP module to support the voice interface.

Do "show diag" to see what do you have in the router.

For example, a PVDM-256K-8 would be enough for 8 analog voice ports, but not for additional ones.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Re: 1760 with vic 4fxs/did card

So you need a minimum of PVDM-256K-8.

Thanks for the appreciation and good luck!
