1811 will not upgrade to latest IOS

I have five 1811 routers that will not upgrade to the latest IOS version c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T8.bin

They all have this weird IOS version "PCBU_WIRELESS_BASE_POINT" installed but none are wireless Wifi or 3/4g (if this is what they are referring to)

System image file is "flash:c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.050620

I have set the boot system flash as follows and as I said, it always rolls over to the original version.

boot-start-marker
boot system flash c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T8.bin
boot system flash c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.050620
boot system flash
boot-end-marker

Config register is as follows

Config reg is 0x2102

I also did a verify on the new file and the hash checks out

...Done!
Embedded Hash   MD5 : 1DDCA3043480EFE57E91EEB7C008F213

"sh bootvar" won't work on

"sh bootvar" won't work on some routers.  You may need to post the output to the command "sh run | b oot-start-marker".

The version I tried to load

The version I tried to load is NOW this since I changed it just in case the other had some quirk why it would not load. This wont load either.

Store_10601#sh run | b boot-start-marker

boot-start-marker
boot system flash c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T7.bin
boot system flash
boot-end-marker

Your boot variable string is

Your boot variable string is an incorrect syntax.

Try this:

config t
no boot system flash c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T7.bin
boot system flash:c181x-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T7.bin
end
wr
reload

Can you also post the complete output to the command "sh version".  I want to check if your router has enough DRAM and flash to support this IOS.  (256/64).
