1G SFP on SUP7E (4510R+E)

Hi,

I am having 1G-SFP compatability issue with the SUP7E on 4510R+E

The chassis is on cat4500e-universalk9.SPA.03.02.03.SG.150-2.SG3.bin with entservices license.

I tried two scenarios

1. A 3560E with GLC-LH-SM is directly connected to the SUP7E port1 with 1000baseLX SFP's. The link does not come up. The "show int ten5/1" output shows that the sfp has been detected. However if i put the 1000baseLX on a second 3560 and connect to the first 3560, the link comes up fine,

2. Did the same with a pair of 1000baseSX transceivers. the result is the same.

The datasheet sheet says that the SFP is supported.is there something that i am missing, Also tried if any options are available in the hw-module command, I dont see any int gig5/X on the chassis,

please help

regards

Sanju
