2 BGP routers at same site with same ASN

Hi,

As long as two different routers at the same site with the same (private) ASN advertise different networks, can they coexist until one is taken offline?

This is a private bgp telco vpn setup.

Thanks.

lcaruso,

I don't think this would be a problem. You have two different routers, with the same private ASN, advertising different networks, so I don't see how taking one offline would be a problem, except for that the network on the router that was taken offline, will not be advertised.
