Hello
Scneario: My network is upgrading. I am implementing (2) WAN links at seperate locations using different ISP's. See Diagram
Question_1:
What is best practice for Multihoming using BGP?
Is that the best approach for this network design?
Question_2: See diagram
Failover between CORE/ASA and ISP
It seems a Floating static in the CORE and later in the ASA would work. Please review and advise.

Hello, Steve.
Could you please describe your routing and business logic?
Are you going to advertise single prefix over both links? Do you want both WAN links run in Active/Active?
What are sites' roles - are they a backup for each other? Are you going to have single DMZ on site 1 only?
If sites are backup, how do you trigger failover?
Why do you want OTV between cores?
Why do you plan ASR on WAN links (ASR for 100M)?

Thank you for the response.
Routing and business case:
(2) physical sites, same City, each has a DC, DMZ
Each site will handle it's own routing needs with the other acting as failover.
COMPLETE REDUNDANCY, No single point of failure
Not sure of the single prefix. We will receive a /29 from cable co.
We currently have an ISP external ip range
OTV is an idea being thrown around to connect DC's
Cisco rep and design team sold the ASR prior to my coming to this company.
2951 or 3925 would have worked well
