2 x Site-to-Site VPNs

Hi everyone,

Hopefully I am posting this in the right section.

This is the set up we have at the moment.

HQ Site                                                                           Remote Site

UC560-----> ASA 5505 -----> INTERNET---------------------> Cisco 2901 Route + 2 x ADSL Connections

(40mb down and 10mb up)                                                  (8mb down and 1 up for both ADSLs)

At the HQ site we have a UC560 used for telephony then in front of it we have an ASA which does all the routing and security as well as VPN tunneling. At the Remote Site we have one Cisco router with 2 ADSL connections. For now one ADSL connection used for general internet connectivity and the second one purly for VPN between the sites.

We have around 10-12 phones at the remote site (yes that's a lot more than recomended and they all use G729), however users report clipping when they are on the phone either between sites or when calling a customer. Now is this down to the poor internet connectivity or its the fact that UC cannot cope with that many remote users?

Many thanks
