Hi Guyz,
I have a question regarding compatibility of HWIC-4T with 2610XM routers.. Have anyone ever tried using HWIC-4T(smart serial) with 2610XM routers on both slots adding upto 8 serial interfaces ??
I want to setup the 2610XM router as a FR switch for simulation using HWIC-4T cards ??
Please advice

You asked, and I answered about HWIC, not WIC. These are different things.

Only ISR routers support HWIC cards. 26xx do not.

Paolo's right. HWIC will physically not fit into a 2600 router. If you look at the assembly, the HWIC has three rows of pins while the 2600 (and WICs) has a row of two.
