2811 router connected to a 100MB MAN

My project consists of changing our current t1 MPLS WAN to a 100 MB shared fibr MEtro area network. Can I connect the MAn to the second ethernet connection? What will the throughput be?

Thanks,

Rick

100 mbps, if wirespeed is desired at any packet size, exceeds 2821 performances. See attached document.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

If your going to use a LAN like connection, you might consider using a LAN L3 switch. The Catalyst 3560-8PC might be a good fit.
