3560 PoE enabled switch

Can you please confirm the operation of 8 port Cisco 3560 PoE enabled switch.

1> I want to run BGP protocol on this

2> I will connect two firewall on two diff port (Normal RJ45 without PoE enabled)

3> I don't require PoE , Can I disable PoE

Please confirm whether I do all the above things or not

Here are the answers inline

1) Yes you can use BGP. You must run either IP services or advanced IP services IOS.

2) Shouldn't be a problem depending on your design.

3) POE will only work if there is a POE capable device connected. You can also use the "power inline never" command to prevent POE from ever being used.
