show interface does not show my E3/T3 wic but show ver does :

Cisco 3825 (revision 1.2) with 226304K/35840K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID FTX1136A37U

2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces

1 Subrate T3/E3 port

DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity enabled.

479K bytes of NVRAM.

62720K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)

Do I have a bad E3 card ? What would cause it to show in ver but not in interfaces/configure ?

You should see it with "show diag". Then, most likely you haven't configured "card type" yet.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Show diag can help you out if the wic's are detected by the router. also you need to put this in your config to let the serial interface appear in your show interface command.

card type E3
