3G HWIC as backup link in 1841 router.

We are trying to test 3G link to backup main mpls connection. What is the best way to do this? Is there any idea to use private APN for this use, or is it possible/better to do with IP SLA and IPSec with NAT? Have anyone experience using OSPF over APN connection (GRE+IPSec)? I would appreciate your answers.

Thanks,

Lasse

Several of my colleagues have been testing the use of the 3 G card in the 1841 router. We are mostly looking at using it with GRE + IPSec tunnels. For the most part we have it working and have a couple of issues that we are working to resolve. We are looking at it as a primary connection rather than as a backup but I would think that most of the techniques that are commonly used for backup connections should work with the 3 G card.
