A Chairde,
I am putting business case together to purchase a active backup router for our labs , we have 7609 at present with a 48 port FE Card and 24 port Fibre card, the second router will have extra capacity we will need, and can work as a H323 Gatekeeper (7609 can,t), but was wondering for Disaster Recovery , is there a 7200 series Router that can handle 7600 Cards ???

Hi,
None of the 7200 series routers are capable of using 7600 series cards - the physical form factor makes it pretty much impossible.
The only other platform on which you can use these blades is the 6500 series switches,,,
Hope that helps - pls rate posts that help.

Hi Paresh,
I will rate the post, just one last question ..... , do you know if the 6500 series supports the H323 GK-GW Functionality ....

Hi,
If you are after the 'Gatekeeper Support for H.323 to H.323 IP to IP Gateway' feature, I don't think it's supported even on the 7600 series yet....
