Anybody know what "class" file system the 7206VXR NPE-G2 uses? I was unable to read flash from a NPE-G1 and vice versa. The compatability matrix lists the NPE as a class c, but I am thinking the NPE-G2 is something else...

Hello Ryan,
I recommend to have the NPE-G2 to format the flash and to write the ios image on it.
We had a problem once caused by this kind of things: a GSR router in reloading an ios image it had already loaded other times complained of something.
The ios image had been written in another device, same file system type.
So if possible the safe way is to do all on the target device.
Hope to help

Thanks Guiseppe,
This is the same issue we had, where IOS had been written on another device of seemingly the same file system.
