Hello Jay,

you may need a different IOS image

you can check this using Feature Navigator

www.cisco.com/go/fn

or you can post a sh ver here

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Here is the Sh ver

appreciate the help!!!

Hello Jay,

I've used the sofware advisor tool in the hope of finding a suitable release for your device.

it provided the following feedback

Two or more selected items are incompatible. Selected item [PA-A3-8T1IMA=] is incompatible with: [NPE-200=-TS]. Please change one or more items.

So it looks like there is an hardware incompatibility

Hope to help

Giuseppe

interesting..so the card is not compatable with the router hardware?

it was taken from one 7200 and put into another..will check to see what is was removed from..really appreciate the help..

is it compatable with the following

NPE400

C7200-I/O-GE+E=

CLEI : CN3I3KOAAE

SPECIAL : 800-06117-08

Serial : 34676882

Hello Jay,

the incompatibility declared from the tool was with the NPE-200 not with the specified I/O controller.

for the tool with a C7206 chassis this I/O controller cannot be installed.

Be aware that both NPE-200 and C7206 chassis are end of sale since 2004 or before.

You may have taken the card from a C7206VXR chassis with NPE 400 or better processor.

you can check this using

sh c7200

Hope to help

Giuseppe
