Could this be related to Software defect CSCsd37629 ?

Would removing the inspect statements on the interfaces only or the global inspect statements help ?

OR

Would upgrading to

c7200-advipservicesk9-mz.124-9.T1.bin

help ?

According to the output and the description of the bug, you may hit the bug. However, you cannot solve via upgrade, you may not able to use the "ip inspect" command.

You may consider to downgrade to use 12.3 to solve it.

Hope this helps.

Any particular release of 12.3 - image name could help. Isn't there a fix in 12.4T train?

Hi ,

The bug is integrated in 12.004(009.017) 12.4(03f) 12.4(04)T05 12.4(06)T04 12.4(07c) 12.4(08b) 12.4(09)T01 12.4(10.01)T 12.4(10.08)PI06a.

You can download and use any one of the above images.

Thanks,

Satish

Hi ,

The fix for CSCsd37629 has been integrated into IOS versions 012.004(009.017)

12.4(10.01)T and later. This means that the fix will likely be released on Cisco.com via

12.4(5th)T which will likely be available soon.

Thanks,

Satish

AT the software centre the latest image I can see is 12.4(9)T1 and the image name:

c7200-advipservicesk9-mz.124-9.T1.bin

I don't see 12.4(10.01)T, etc.

Hi ,

12.4(10.01)T will be released soon.Mean while if you want an engineering image in which the fix is integrated you should open a TAC case and get the engineering image.so that your router may not be crashed once again because of the bug

Thanks,

Satish
